A Path to the (Un)known?

A path.  Sometimes we can see where it’ll take us and sometimes we can only guess.   Either way, taking it is an experience that we should embrace.  That’s the best thing about travel — you don’t always know what’s over the next hill or around the next bend.  We might have an idea, but we won’t know for sure until we get there.  Go ahead, use your imagination.  It’s okay to get out of your comfort zone.  Anticipation.  Liberation.  Exhilaration.  Live It!

Matera, Italy is one of those places that you just have to see.  The town is the third longest  continually inhabited settlement in history.

Venice, Italy doesn’t only have canals.  Its streets and alleyways leave a lot to the imagination.

St. Maarten.  You’d never know that this beaten-up path would lead to a beautiful beach.  Or does it?

Tangier, Morocco.  The Kasbah.  One of my favorite shots.  A labyrinth of alleyways.  You never know who or what you’ll find around the bend or through the doorway.
